As an ode to the recent spate of almost Spring like weather, a revisit of some Autumnal warmth as seen from the hills above Salmon Beach, near Windy Harbour in the D’entrecasteaux National Park.

The many grasses that bind sand dunes together take on a very warm hue, generally, in late afternoon sunlight.  Conversely, in winter, they seem almost morose pinned against a grey sky.

Salmon Beach was one of our first stops ‘down south’ after earlier arriving in Bridgetown.  It’s part of the D’entrecasteaux National Park which stretches along the song coast around Windy Harbour.  It would have to be one of the most picturesque beaches I’ve seen in my life.  More photos of it over the next few days.
