So admittedly it’s been some time since I’ve done this, but, I think maybe it’s time to come back to photography in my life.  Slowly, but surely, and for the right reasons.  There will be more soon, as some more doors open and more light is let in.

The almost luminous turquoise waters of the Southern Ocean glow on a warm Spring’s afternoon, west of Albany.

Part of the talents of being Australian is the innate ability to be able to repair things on the fly in a somewhat ad hoc manner.  Be it a pair of pantyhose for a fan belt in your car, a bit of fencing wire to fix a fuse on your house, or in the case of this photo, cutting down a power pole to prop up your verandah…

…uh yeah.

I’m experiencing a few colour management issues at the moment with a new monitor, so it may be that we’ll see a few spots in the daily post over the next few days.  Hopefully not too many!
