A break, of sorts
Monday, June 29th, 2009I’ve taken and am taking (as one may have noticed) a break from all deadlines and posting requirements and the need to have things done by a certain time. At least for the next few days. More images coming from next week! Thanks to everyone who visits and offers kind words.
New ways to stay in touch
Monday, March 9th, 2009Tonight I’ve added a ‘subscription’ option to receive an email with site updates. At this stage it will send an email out each time I post a new photo, which as you would know, is once a day, so it will be a low volume mailing list.
You can subscribe on the right in the side bar (or below) and I promise I won’t sell your email address to those crazy spammers and their wacky get rich/erect/married quick schemes.
There is of course, the traditional RSS if you wish to stay up to date.
Adrift
Sunday, February 15th, 2009Proof that too much vignetting is never enough (sorry Ian).
Coastal grasses drift gracefully in the late afternoon breeze. The grasses keep the wandering dunes of the Swan Coastal Plain at least somewhat stable in the South Trigg Beach area.
I’ve been on a training course on the East Coast this past week where Internet access is apparently expensive ($24.95/day?) hence the lack of photos. Back to one’s regular schedule from today.
Welcome to the new site!
Thursday, January 1st, 2009Welcome to the new look for elementography.com. I hope you like what you find.
After over a year’s hiatus at this site, I finally feel I have something that I wish to contribute as well as feeling at a point where I wish to now accelerate my overall photographic pursuits. There will be more details and news on this site as these come to fruition, but for now I will be at the very minimum posting a photo a day to this site when it is practical (i.e. I’m actually within cooee of a computer!)
I’ve spent the past seven years of my life forging what I feel is my style and with that in mind I hope to use the next few in fostering and building on that. This site will hopefully document that growth and change as much as the old site documented the formation.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the daily photo, subscribe to the feeds and leave a comment every now and then if you like an image.
As always, general news will continue on my more wordly blog.
