As an ode to the recent spate of almost Spring like weather, a revisit of some Autumnal warmth as seen from the hills above Salmon Beach, near Windy Harbour in the D’entrecasteaux National Park.

Sailing away from Kalbarri for a few days, we return to Perth and Herdsman Lake at near dusk.

One word: warmth.  At least, as much as winter can bring you.  Just east of Port Gregory.

The cold icy tendrils of winter are slowly enveloping us here in the west.  Sometimes it’s nice to remember a warmer time.
