We tend to think of ravens as having jet black feathers, but, get them in the right light and maybe after they’ve taken a bird bath, some surprising colours emerge.

Galah is both a quintessentially Australian word and animal, and never has a truer word been used, with perhaps the exception of the Sloth.  This playful lot were impressing the tourists at the head of the Loop Trail into the Murchison Gorge.

And so I’m back.  It’s been nice having a break, but, it’s back to the world of taking photos and sharing them!  And hopefully, with a few surprises to come on this site in the coming months.
