Guided by Signs

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Anyone who’s been paying attention to this site will know that I’m a pretty big fan of signs and how we use simplistic images to convey powerful messages.  This image in particular is one of those examples and just happens to be one of my favourite signs in recent times.  Simple, straight to the point.

Pacing

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

In every moment of our existence, we are in that field of all possibilities where we have access to an infinity of choices.

Encroaching

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

I’ve been on a very relaxing sojourn down south the last three days hence the lack of photos.  The good news though is that three days exploring the wonders of Pemberton, Manjimup and Bridgetown means I’m armed with quite a few images which I’ll start posting from tomorrow.

Random People Awaiting Sunset

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Waiting for the sun

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Computer issues fixed…mostly.

Dark clouds gather over North Beach, Perth.

Various People on Rocks

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

One appears to be experiencing some shenanigans with one’s computer this evening, so I’ve been forced to dip into the archives for an image.

This image is from the Gap in Albany, quite possibly my favourite place on earth.  The average age of the rocks is ~3.5 billion years.

Weeping

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

A bruised and laden sky, which ultimately resulted in a mere trickle (but a hell of a sunset) drifts south towards Perth, high above Bennion Beach.

Drumkits on my beach

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

It’s not every day you rock up to your local beach with the intent of taking some photos only to find some rock band shooting a film clip.  Well, it was this evening, apparently.

Let Your Dim Light Shine

A sullen afternoon looking up from Bennion Beach towards the street.
