Monday, July 6th, 2009An Eurasin Coot preening itself on one of the old boat ramps on the shore of Lake Monger.

Descending
Sunday, July 5th, 2009The Avon Descent is on at the start of August and travelling into the Perth hills today to the Walyunga National Park revealled a bevy of eager folk unloading kayaks and readying themselves to practice some of the rapids including the gentleman in the photo.
Resplendent
Saturday, July 4th, 2009A Black Swan (cygnus atratus) curiously eyes the photographer as it gracely cruises along the water of Lake Monger.
