| About the site: Background: This website has been my home on the web for some years now. It's undergone many changes during that time, and now I'm walking towards making it a digital home for my photographic portfolio. The daily site is designed to help me focus on producing high quality images and distilling down to the 'best of the best'. About the artist, Ben Cooke: I'm a 28 year photographer recently relocated to Perth, WA, Australia. Up until the start of this year, I was based in Brisbane and a lot of this time is shown in my earlier work. I travel extensively for my 'day job' which has given me an excellent opportunity to take photos across Australia and throughout the world. With my travel winding down for a while, I'm now looking to concentrate on honing my art 'at home', both developing this site and furthering my exposure in the art community. I seriously picked up my first camera back in 2001 and since then have taken tens of thousands of photographs defining my style and developing my eye. Equipment: I religiously shoot with: o  Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II Digital SLR o  Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM telephoto lens o  Canon EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM macro lens o  Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II standard lens Contact: elemento at elementography dot com |
